New Sink & Basin Installation
Fitted Properly The First Time
A new sink or basin is rarely just a swap-and-go job. The waste connections need to be right, the seals need to hold, and the fit has to sit square against the worktop or wall. Get it wrong, and you end up with a leak under the unit six months later.
We install a wide range of kitchen sinks, bathroom basins, vanity units, and cloakroom basins in properties across Cardiff. Whatever style you’ve chosen, we’ll fit it properly. Most of our installation work runs alongside kitchen and bathroom renovations, but we also handle straightforward replacements where an old sink has finally given up.

Sink & Basin Repairs
Repaired Cleanly & Tested Before We Leave
Most sink and basin problems aren’t dramatic, but they’re annoying enough to live with. A drip under the cupboard you only notice when you reach for the kitchen roll. A basin that’s worked loose from the wall. Silicone that’s gone black and lifted away from the worktop. Small issues, but they get worse if you leave them.
We handle all types of repairs, including leaks, resealing, refitting, and replacement of failed waste connections, traps, and valves. If the underlying issue is the pipework rather than the sink itself, we’ll sort that too. Repairs are done cleanly and tested before we leave.
Got a leak or a loose basin? Contact our team, and we’ll come and put it right.
Frequently Asked Questions
Our Sink & Basin Service FAQs
Do you supply the sink or basin, or do I need to buy it?
Either works. Most of our customers prefer to choose the sink or basin themselves, which gives them more options on style and finish. However, we’re happy to source the unit if you’d rather not deal with that side of it. If you’ve already bought one, send us a photo, and we’ll let you know what’s involved in fitting it before we visit.
My basin has cracked. Can it be repaired?
In most cases, no. Ceramic and porcelain basins can’t be reliably repaired once they’re cracked, particularly if the crack goes through the wall of the basin. The right answer is usually replacement, and we can advise on matching a like-for-like unit or upgrading to something different.
Will you need to turn off the water?
Briefly, yes. We isolate the water supply at the relevant valves so we can disconnect the old fitting and connect the new one safely. The rest of the property’s water stays on. If your isolation valves don’t work properly, we may need to turn off at the stopcock, which we’ll talk you through first.
Can you cut a worktop to fit a new kitchen sink?
We carry out the plumbing side of the installation. Worktop cutting is usually handled by the kitchen fitter or a carpenter, particularly for stone, quartz, or composite worktops, where specialist tools are needed.
